Our mission is to rescue dogs in need in NC

All Good Dogs Rescue is dedicated to saving dogs from neglect, abuse, and homelessness. We provide care, love, and support until they find their forever homes. All Good Dogs Rescue is a registered 501(c)(3) charity.

In 2021, NC had the second highest euthanasia rate in the US. Our state regularly euthanizes more than 10,000 dogs a year. Many shelters are driven to euthanasia due to overcrowding rather than medical or behavioral problems. We need to change that!

Adoption and spay/neutering are the best ways to prevent good dogs from being euthanized due to homelessness and overcrowding in shelters.

Did you know that spaying female dogs-

  • prevents Pyometra, a potentially fatal uterine infection that affects up to 25% of intact females
  • reduces the risk of mammary tumors by about 90%
  • prevents uterine and ovarian cancers

and neutering males dogs-

  • reduces urine marking and territorial behaviors
  • reduces mounting/humping, roaming, and even reduces some types of aggression
  • reduces some cancers

How Your Donations Help Dogs

Your support allows us to provide the best possible medical care our fosters. All our dogs are fully vetted, which is expensive, but ensures you know the full picture of the health of your new dog. Did you know that adoption fees only cover about half the cost of rescuing most dogs? Donations help cover the rest.
